One West Point
One West Point is the tallest residential building in West London, standing at 183.75 meters tall and spanning 54 floors. It’s part of the Portal West development, which also includes a tech incubator hub, offices, shops, businesses, and cafes.
It is an iconic new build-to-rent offering in West London, completed in 2023. With planning permission already secured by BUJ on a for-sale development, the client had aspirations to create the best-in-class build to rent community in West London and appointed Cowen+Partners.

Our approach included a full redesign, working with the client to deliver a scheme that achieves enhanced rental premium through its services offer.

The result is four building all located within extensive green infrastructure and integrated public realm, with 701 apartments with a mix of affordable and build-to-rent. The client’s objectives were achieved through a strategy focused on amenity spaces, which deliver both revenue and an exemplar resident offering. One West Point is part of the Portal West Development within the OPDC regeneration area which includes extensive green infrastructure and integrated public realm. The development is led by City & Docklands with the operational platform ‘AWOL’ (A way of Living).
