For decades, the UK has not been building enough homes. What is less widely recognised is that the vast majority of homes delivered have been of a poor design and build quality. Swathes of the UK are blighted by uninspiring housing estates that do not encourage social mobility and the creation of cohesive communities of quality living spaces.
